Family farmers in USA

YAMADA, Masaru is a senior staff writer with the Japan Agricultural News. Born in Tokyo, Japan, he joined the paper in 1977. He was a visiting scholar at University of Florida, and Texas A&M university in 1993-94.

The Japan Agricultural News carried the installation tittled "Another American Farming" from May 12 through May 21 in the front page.
It is a series of focusing on American family farmers who are trying to farm and to make ends meet by cooperations and supports by the rural communities.
The newspaper is an agricultural daily with a circulation of 365,000.
